The Cooperative of Artists ŁAD, Izabella Szerska-Sternińska

Izabella Sternińska was an architecture designer from a generation that graduated from their studies in the mid-50s and right after that have actively started their career. She managed to present her work in 1956 at the exhibition at the thirtieth anniversary of "ŁAD" and the year after at the Poland Exhibition of Interior Design in Zachęta. She started working for Cepelia and co-worked with Cepelia cooperatives such as "Rzut" in Toruń and Warsaw "ŁAD". Made in 1973 set "Egg" was named from the oval glazing of the door at the top of the rack. Its lower part was produced in two variants: with drawers and with doors, also sold as a single dresser.
